There's no better way to begin your White Mountains vacation than with a visit to the White Mountains Attractions Visitor Center at Exit 32 off I-93 in North Woodstock. The friendly staff can provide you with a wealth of information on where to go and what to see, as well as free brochures, maps, and more. White Mountains Recreation Passes are also available at the Visitor Center. While you're at the Visitor Center, take a few minutes to visit the Gift Shop; it's a perfect place to pick up a souvenir of your vacation. And check out the White Mountains Interpretive Center in the attached authentic post and beam barn; you'll learn a little bit about everything from the area's wildlife to building stone walls.
